The RP-X compound hits a high friction level of 0.55 and holds strong across a huge temperature range—up to 850°C. That’s not just heat resistance; that’s consistency when you need it most. Compared to EBC’s RP-1, this pad brings a 25% higher friction feel and a more aggressive initial bite. Heavier cars or those with less brake assist feel sharper and more controlled, while lighter builds might still prefer a slightly softer pad—but if grip and response are what you’re after, RP-X won’t let you down.
