Our Top Mount Performance Charge Air Cooler for the S55 engine found in the F8x M-Cars improves power and torque output significantly by substantially reducing charge air temperatures versus the OE cooling setup. This race-proven cooler really is essential for every stage of tuning on any high performance S55-engined M-car.
The factory charge air cooler used on the S55 engine has proved to be unable to cope with the demands of higher power, hard driven cars, showing up as serious power losses during hard driving as air temperatures soar.
Our massive replacement Charge Air Cooler is the best performing cooler upgrade on offer for the S55. The intercooler core was developed specifically for the high requirements of the BMW M2C/M3/M4 and offers an incredible 114% more external core volume compared to the stock cooler.
Our development focussed on finding the ‘sweet spot’ of maximum IAT cooling versus minimum pressure loss. This has allowed us to achieve increased size without increased lag. By consistently reducing intake air temperatures (IAT), heat soak is minimised delivering increased performance again and again. No need for the recovery cool-down times needed for the production cooler.
The core itself uses internal turbulators to improve its cooling performance and the CFD optimised cast end tanks assist with maintaining the best possible airflow across the core.

We examine all orders prior to dispatching to customers. All products are tested on specific vehicles in our workshop before available for sale.
We strongly advise you to check all contents when the package is delivered to make sure no damage has occurred during transportation and report any problems to us within 7 days. This will allow us to raise a claim with the shipping company as they have a time limit for reporting any shipping damages. Failing to inform us about this might result in your claims being declined.
In rare cases, if you find that a product has been damaged in transit or a fitment issue, please contact us by email info@vogueautomotive.com and we will resolve your query in quickest manner possible. When contacting us please provide as much information as possible and including any supporting photos if available.
RETURNS
- Buyers will be responsible for return postage.
- We recommend using a traceable service with insurance for returning any unwanted goods back to us.
- We cannot exchange or refund any goods returned in damaged condition.
- We will not accept any returned products which were modified/altered in any way by the customer.
- If possible please retain and reuse all original packaging.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Our warranty on exterior products covers fitment issues only.
