The Hawk Performance DTC-30 is a motorsport-grade friction compound designed to deliver predictable, linear brake torque in high-temperature, high-load racing environments. It is particularly effective on platforms requiring finely tuned front axle response, offering a balance of strong initial bite, stable mid-corner deceleration, and clean release characteristics. The compound is optimized for use in applications where high deceleration events are repeated frequently, such as sprint racing, time attack, and high-performance driver education (HPDE) formats.

With an operational temperature window of 200°C to 870°C, DTC-30 maintains stable friction output across a wide thermal range, reducing the risk of torque fade under extended braking cycles. At temperatures between 800°F and 1,200°F—typical of front axle operating conditions during aggressive lapping—DTC-30 exhibits minimal variation in coefficient of friction, allowing for consistent pedal feedback lap after lap. This thermal stability also contributes to brake system predictability, improving driver confidence in threshold braking zones and under variable track grip conditions.

The compound’s initial bite is assertive without being overly aggressive, allowing for quick pedal engagement at turn-in without compromising modulation deeper into the braking zone. The linear friction response throughout the pedal stroke supports nuanced control, which is essential for managing chassis balance during trail braking. On release, DTC-30 disengages smoothly, minimizing pad drag and enabling cleaner transitions from brake to throttle input. We examine all orders prior to dispatching to customers. All products are tested on specific vehicles in our workshop before available for sale.

We strongly advise you to check all contents when the package is delivered to make sure no damage has occurred during transportation and report any problems to us within 7 days. This will allow us to raise a claim with the shipping company as they have a time limit for reporting any shipping damages. Failing to inform us about this might result in your claims being declined.

In rare cases, if you find that a product has been damaged in transit or a fitment issue, please contact us by email [email protected] and we will resolve your query in quickest manner possible. When contacting us please provide as much information as possible and including any supporting photos if available.

RETURNS

Buyers will be responsible for return postage.
We recommend using a traceable service with insurance for returning any unwanted goods back to us.
